Location: Greenwood Village, Colorado (CO) – This is not a remote position.

Overview:
Kimley-Horn is seeking enthusiastic Engineering students to join our Greenwood Village, CO office. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in civil engineering design and contribute to significant projects.

Hourly Range: $26 – $30 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Regularly utilize technical software programs for analysis, production, and Quality Control (QC) of client deliverables.
• Contribute to pre-construction civil engineering design, planning, modification, permitting, and analysis for diverse projects varying in size and scope.
• Engage in complex problem-solving, support project managers, and foster interdisciplinary collaboration to realize clients’ visions for future built environments.
• Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations, alongside Kimley-Horn’s and client-specific practices, procedures, and standards.
• Interns will gain proficiency in one or more discipline-specific software programs including: AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro, and/or GIS.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing an ABET accredited engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters).
• Eligible majors include:
  • Civil and/or Environmental Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering
  • Engineering Technology
