Role Description:
As an intern in Engineering Research & Development, you will engage in a highly collaborative environment, working not only within your own department but also with various other departments such as Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement, Sales, Materials, and Management. This role requires flexibility and willingness to work in diverse settings, including a manufacturing environment, a lab/testing environment, and/or an office setting. Your daily work will encompass a blend of individual tasks, collaborative efforts, and group projects.
Responsibilities:
• Assisting with various research, testing, and evaluations.
• Processing documentation and conducting comprehensive data analysis.
• Conducting manufacturing audits to ensure adherence to standards.
• Writing test plans designed to drive progress in various programs and projects.
• Attending department, team, and project meetings as necessary to contribute and stay informed.
• Assisting with process improvement projects specifically tied to manufacturing operations.
• Collaborating effectively with other engineers, teams, and departments to achieve shared goals.
Requirements:
• Currently enrolled and actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a related field, specifically Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering.
• A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is required.
• Anticipated Graduation: December 2026 or May 2027.
• Strong interest in key areas such as manufacturing, mechanical design, project management, and statistical analysis tools.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is mandatory.
