What You’ll Actually Do
• Equipment Operation: Gain invaluable hands-on experience by learning to operate and provide technical support for cutting-edge prototype and commercial equipment, specifically those utilized within engineering and scientific laboratory environments for medical technology development.
• Protocol Execution: Execute critical design verification protocols with precision for pre-commercial devices, directly contributing to the rigorous process of ensuring product quality, safety, and regulatory compliance before market release.
• Documentation: Meticulously document all design verification results, including any observed defects, anomalies, and deviations from expected outcomes, thereby ensuring accurate record-keeping, traceability, and adherence to quality system requirements.
• Lab Support: Provide essential, day-to-day support for general engineering activities and diligently maintain organized laboratory inventory, which is crucial for contributing to efficient and smooth operational flow within the laboratory environment.

The Must-Haves
• Background: High school diploma or equivalent is the minimum educational requirement, establishing a foundational academic understanding suitable for supporting laboratory and engineering functions within a medical technology setting.
• Experience: The ability to commit to a full-time, 3-month onsite internship is essential; while no specific years of prior professional experience are required, a readiness to engage actively in an entry-level role is important.
