Job Title: Engineering Internships (2026)

Location:

  • Ginna Nuclear Power Plant – Ontario, NY (In-person)

Internship Details:

  • Duration: Approximately 10 weeks
  • Start Date: June 1st, 2026
  • End Date: August 7th, 2026
  • Compensation: This is a paid internship.
  • Experience: Interns will work on specific projects designed to provide real-world, hands-on experience, working independently under the guidance of an assigned supervisor and technical mentor.
  • Typical Projects May Include:
    • Cooling Tower Drone Inspections
    • Nuclear Core Analysis
    • Control Circuit Wiring Design for Feedwater Pump
    • Thermal Overload Calculation for Motor Operated Valves
    • Seismic Monitoring Instrumentation Upgrade
    • Weld Overlays Calculations on Feedwater Heater
    • Hydrogen Electrolyzer Project

Qualifications:

  • Education: Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s Engineering Program for the Fall of 2026.
  • Majors: Electrical, Mechanical, Nuclear, Civil, or Chemical Engineering.
  • GPA Requirement:
    • Minimum 2.8 Cumulative GPA
    • Minimum 3.0 Major GPA
  • Skills & Attributes:
    • A track record of outstanding academic performance.
    • Eagerness to contribute in a team-oriented environment.
    • Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
    • Excellent leadership, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills.
  • Work Authorization: Constellation will not be providing visa sponsorship for this position now or in the future. You must have the ability to lawfully work in the United States without a need for current or future visa sponsorship.
