Internship Description

Eichleay is seeking engineering interns for their Summer 2025 program. The program aims to provide emerging engineers with exposure to a variety of project work and build critical skills, including:

Communication
Teamwork
Collaboration
Time management
Problem solving

Interns will work alongside senior leadership, receive training through on-the-job assignments utilizing technical skills acquired in college, and build new relationships.

Internship Highlights:

Diverse industry exposure: Work across multiple industries within a multidisciplinary environment.
Hands-on learning: Apply engineering skills to real-world projects.
Mentorship and support: Receive technical support and career advice from supervisors and buddies.
Field visits: Gain practical experience through visits to industrial/lab facilities.
Professional development: Participate in social activities with Eichleay’s Emerging Professionals network and attend panel sessions and lunch & learn events.
Final presentation: Showcase internship experiences and learnings to Eichleay management.
Performance evaluation: Receive feedback and guidance from supervisors.

Internship Duration:

• Minimum of 10 continuous weeks between May 2025 and September 2025.
• Start dates: Mid-May or Mid-June 2025.

Location:

Eichleay office: Larkspur, CA, Orange, CA, Billings, MT, Ferndale, WA.
Client site: Varying locations depending on projects.

Work schedule:

• Every other Friday off.
• Requires in-person interactions, including events, field visits, office-based team meetings.

Compensation:

• $23 to $27 per hour (anticipated annual salary may vary based on skills, experience, qualifications, internal peer equity and location).

Ideal Candidate

Eichleay is seeking motivated and passionate engineering students who:

Meet basic requirements: Have legal authorization to work in the US without sponsorship, are pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil/Structural, Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited program, have successfully completed at least 1 engineering specific course, have a minimum cumulative and major GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
Have preferred requirements: Have previous internships, co-ops, or direct work experience in an engineering field.
