Job Description
As an Engineering Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in mechanical design, product development, and technical support within lightweight conveyor belts and motorized pulley systems. You will work with the engineering, production, and product teams to assist in product solutions, machinery improvements, validation projects, developing innovative solutions, and supporting the engineering process from concept to completion.
Responsibilities
• Collaborate with experienced engineers on projects related to new product development, machine and equipment modification, continuous improvement, and testing and validation.
• Contribute to the design, development, and documentation of innovative solutions for lightweight belting and drum motor product lines.
• Assist in reverse engineering lightweight belting products.
• Support performance testing and analysis of designs to ensure quality, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
• Measure and provide instruction for technical drawings from customer-supplied physical parts to facilitate custom solutions.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, maintain a clean and organized work environment, and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Uphold and promote the company’s culture and values, representing Belt Power professionally at all times.
