Job Overview:
RESOLVEM Inc. is seeking a motivated Engineering Intern (Junior or above) to contribute to a variety of projects supporting the organization and its customers. This is a dynamic role that offers challenge and opportunity to work with cutting-edge medical device companies and a diverse team. The intern will gain practical experience in Systems, Components, Process, Continuous Improvement, and Research & Development.
Availability:
• Summer: June 15th thru Sept 12, 40hrs/week (5 days/week)
• Fall thru Spring: Sept 15th thru June 12th, minimum 20hrs/week (2-3 days/week)
• Must be able to legally work in the United States.
• In-person with earned remote work flexibility.
Pay:
• $27/hr
Responsibilities:
The Engineering Intern will have the opportunity to gain experience in the following areas:
• Development of automated systems for project management
• Fixture design and creation
• Software development
• Drawing creation
• Bill of materials management
• Purchasing/specifications management
• Process development
• Statistical data analysis
• Labeling development
• Risk management
• Inspection procedures
• Qualification/validation/testing for product and automated equipment and/or software
The intern(s) will receive guidance from engineering experts, fostering professional growth and development. RESOLVEM Inc. seeks humble, engaged, flexible, collaborative, and accomplished students who are eager to learn and grow during their education.
Required Education:
• Current standing as a Junior or above at an accredited university studying Mechanical, Computer Science, Industrial, Manufacturing, Chemical, IT, Robotics, Machine Learning, or equivalent Engineering or Technical programs.
Required Experience:
• Work/projects using SolidWorks (must be able to provide examples of parts, fixtures, assemblies, drawings created).
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Nice to have Experience:
• Monday.com
• Agile/Scrum/Waterfall methodologies
• Use of standards
• Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, or C++
• Previous internship experience
Other Duties/Standards:
• The job may require up to 20% travel to customers’ sites and contract manufacturing sites during the summer.
