Job Description: Engineering Intern (Omaha, Nebraska – Summer 2025)

AECOM is seeking an Engineering Intern in Omaha, Nebraska, starting Summer 2025. The internship is designed to provide hands-on experience and enhance the transition from student to professional. Responsibilities include:

Internship duties: Assigned tasks will offer a broad learning experience within the intern’s field of study. The specific tasks are not detailed but are intended to build essential skills beyond the academic setting.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements: Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering; completion of at least two years of study. Entry-level candidates with a Bachelor’s degree planning to pursue a Master’s degree are eligible, requiring enrollment in their Bachelor’s program in the previous school term.
Preferred Qualifications: Previous relevant internship experience; Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook); exposure to construction-based computer programs; ability to learn new technologies and concepts; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
