Job Description

Job Title: Engineering Intern

Company: General Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS)

Location: Dedham, MA

Target Salary Range: USD $23.65/Hr. – USD $29.45/Hr. (This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors. Actual pay may vary.)

Basic Qualifications:

  • Candidates should demonstrate a thorough understanding of engineering technology.
  • Must be enrolled in an accredited degree program in one of the following disciplines:
    • Computer Engineering
    • Systems Engineering
    • Software Engineering
    • Electrical Engineering
    • Mechanical Engineering
    • Other related scientific or technical disciplines.
  • There is a preference for a standing of a junior or higher.

Responsibilities For This Position (Representative Duties and Tasks):

  • Apply your classroom-learned skills to a program supporting the defense of our country.
  • Join the GDMS team in Dedham, MA, working on projects that support some of our nation’s fundamental defense services.
  • Collaborate with esteemed customers to develop solutions for high-stakes national security missions.
  • Work with collaborative teams on various technical projects associated with the core mission.
  • Enhance your skill set by working among a talented and technically accomplished group of colleagues.
