Engineering Internships @ Wealthsimple
Wealthsimple offers 4 to 8-month internships open to co-op and non-co-op students and recent graduates. These remote-first internships allow you to contribute to projects that are changing the landscape of financial services in Canada.

Technical Skills:
Wealthsimple uses a microservice architecture with over 100 services, roughly half using Ruby on Rails and the other half using Java/Kotlin. The frontend application uses a mix of React/Angular. Their services are hosted on AWS and they utilize technologies such as RDS, Aurora, SQS, SNS, S3, Kafka, etc. They follow best practices and have robust tools for profiling, logging, tracing, tracking, and experimenting.
Interview Process:
• First Interview: 45-minute technical interview (in your preferred language) with one interviewer.
• Second Interview: 1-hour interview with a hiring manager where you will discuss a project review.
