The Opportunity: 2025 Intern to Entry-Level Conversion Offers

Join us as we build the future in Engineering! These positions are for 2025 intern to entry-level conversion offers. Interns will have the chance to support engineering projects in space systems, military systems, commercial aircraft or technology development.

Work Location & Flexibility

  • Hybrid Positions: Some positions are hybrid, requiring some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change.
  • Virtual Opportunities: Some positions have been identified as virtual and will not require relocation.
  • Onsite Positions: Some positions are expected to be 100% onsite, requiring work at one of the listed location options.

Export Control & Security Clearance Requirements

  • Export Control: Most positions must meet export control compliance requirements. A “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee).
  • Security Clearance: Additionally, some positions require the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, for which U.S. Citizenship is required. Please note, this specific position does not require a Security Clearance.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

  • Currently majoring in a core engineering/applied sciences discipline such as: Aeronautical/Aerospace, Civil (especially Structural emphasis or interest), Chemical, Computer Engineering/Science, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology (Manufacturing Engineering Technology), Industrial Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Software Engineering, Structural Engineering, Quality Engineering, Industrial Engineering Technical, Industrial Management, Operations Research, Cybersecurity, Engineering Mechanics, Systems Engineering.
  • Currently enrolled student attending a college or university with an expected graduation date prior to August 2026.
  • Previously interned with Boeing.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Strong academic performance.
  • Exceptional organizational and collaboration skills as demonstrated through leadership positions on teams and/or in student or civic organizations.
  • Strong technical experiences as demonstrated through technical projects, research or engineering internships.
  • Exceptional communication skills and interest and enthusiasm related to engineering, aerospace and a career with Boeing.

Typical Education & Experience Levels

Entry-Level (Level 1) Roles:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Associate (Level 2) Roles:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Mid-Level (Level 3) Roles:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master + 3 years’ related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

  • Relocation: This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Pay Ranges (Summary):

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

  • Entry-Level (Level 1) summary pay range: $50,000 – $119,000
  • Associate (Level 2) summary pay range: $60,000 – $144,000
  • Mid-Level (Level 3) summary pay range: $72,000 – $174,000
