Job Description (Engineering Intern)

This is an opportunity for an Engineering Intern at Mohawk Industries, designed for students looking to gain significant hands-on experience and professional development within a dynamic and supportive environment.

Your Role:
As an Engineering Intern, you will be responsible for assisting in various engineering tasks and projects. This role provides direct exposure to real-world applications of engineering principles. During your first week, your team will outline the exact project details, which will involve a real business challenge within your assigned group. You will have the opportunity to exchange ideas with subject matter experts, contributing to optimal learning and development that leads to tangible solutions.

Program Overview:
The internship program at Mohawk is structured to offer a comprehensive learning experience. Key highlights include:
• Real Business Challenge: Each intern is presented with a real business challenge that allows for the application of academic knowledge to practical scenarios.
• Intern Expo: At the culmination of the internship, interns showcase their accomplishments during an event called the “Intern Expo.”

Qualifications:
To be eligible for this internship, candidates must meet the following criteria:
• Must be enrolled in an accredited Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program at the time of the internship.
• A minimum GPA of 2.7 is required.
• Candidates must have completed their freshman year of courses.
• The role is open to students pursuing Engineering and/or similar majors.
• AutoCAD skills are preferred.
