This is an Engineering Intern position within HII Mission Technologies, specifically supporting DoD programs in Warner Robins, GA. The role is classified as Part Time/Hourly/Non-Exempt with a Level of Experience designated as “Intern HI”. The Requisition Number for this role is 23687.

Position Summary:
HII Mission Technologies is seeking talented and motivated Interns to join their team. The Engineering Intern will provide support for engineering, scientific, technical, and business support services for government customers. The person selected will be expected to work both individually and within a team environment, actively contributing to meaningful projects and working closely with mentors and senior leadership.
What you will do (Responsibilities):
• Support the engineering team with functions in electronics, electrical, and business administration specialties.
• Assist with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support.
• Assist senior engineers with data analysis and root-cause analysis on electrical, electronic, and electro-mechanical components and subsystems.
• Assist in the research, design, development, and test of a variety of electronic equipment and systems.
• Create and maintain various reports using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Capture and distribute meeting minutes according to policy.
• Respond to telephone and email inquiries.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
What we are looking for (Qualifications):
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be working towards a Bachelor’s degree with between 40% and 60% of the required credits completed.
Physical Requirements:
Job performance will typically require only minor lifting and carrying of boxes of records or equipment.
