Engineering Development Program (EDP) Co-Op Internship

This six-month Co-Op program, running from January 6, 2025 to May 16, 2025, is designed to attract and develop highly skilled and self-motivated individuals passionate about a technology career. This program provides a strong foundation for future success within Travelers.

# Program Goals:

Real-world experience: Gain hands-on experience in software engineering supported by a comprehensive technology and business development curriculum.
Career exploration: Develop an understanding of various technology roles within Travelers and explore potential career paths.
Networking opportunities: Interact and network with leadership, management, and fellow co-op interns.
Skill development: Sharpen technical skills, participate in a mentoring program, and gain valuable insights into the company’s technology community.

# Job Responsibilities:

• Participate in hands-on software engineering projects.
• Apply academic knowledge to real-world scenarios.
• Collaborate with team members and mentors.
• Participate in training programs and development activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

# Ideal Candidate Profile:

Academic background: Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Software Engineering, Math, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Cybersecurity with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater.
Technical skills: Exposure to object-oriented programming (OOP) in at least one major language.
Soft skills: Strong communication, teamwork, analytical, and critical thinking skills. Demonstrated adaptability, customer focus, and a strong work ethic.
Personal qualities: Accountable, resilient, eager to learn, and passionate about technology.
Additional requirements: Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Note: This opportunity is specifically targeted towards Northeastern University students for the January 2025 – May 2025 Co-Op period. For Summer 2025 internships, applications are open to all interested individuals.
