Competitive Hourly Pay Rate:

We value your academic progress and offer a tiered compensation structure:

  • Sophomore: $20.00/hr.
  • Junior: $21.00/hr.
  • Senior: $22.00/hr.

As a Co-Op student at PCC, you will be deeply integrated into projects directly related to your functional engineering discipline. Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

This Co-Op role is crafted to provide a comprehensive and practical engineering experience. Key responsibilities include:

  • Applying Engineering Principles: You will translate theoretical knowledge gained in your coursework into practical, hands-on situations, actively participating in critical areas such as process optimization and product design and development.
  • Progressive Responsibility & Goal Achievement: You will be entrusted with achieving specific performance goals, with your responsibilities in process and/or product engineering progressively increasing throughout your co-op tenure, fostering continuous skill development.
  • Process Improvement Identification: Taking an analytical approach, you will identify opportunities and recommend data-driven process improvements for specified projects, contributing directly to operational efficiency and quality.
  • Continuous Learning & Development: You will actively participate in relevant training sessions, industry symposiums, and other appropriate educational opportunities to broaden your technical expertise and industry knowledge.
  • Systems Analysis and Documentation: You will perform or review systems analysis, conduct thorough testing, and contribute to the documentation for existing processes, ensuring clarity, compliance, and operational excellence.
  • Project Ownership: You will take direct ownership and responsibility for identified projects, managing tasks from conception to completion and developing critical project management skills.
  • Collaborative Project Participation: You will be an integral member of project teams, actively participating in the analysis of improvements, evaluating new products or applications, and collaboratively developing technical requirements and specifications.
