Job Description: Engineering Co-op

This co-op program matches students with projects based on their abilities and the company’s needs. All projects hold significant strategic and/or operational importance. Responsibilities may include:

Partnering with leadership: Identifying and addressing areas for efficiency improvement and benchmarking against industry best practices.
Process ownership: Critically reviewing processes, paying close attention to detail, and proactively recommending improvements.
Equipment use: Utilizing specialized equipment and instrumentation accurately and with minimal supervision.
Tool and model development: Creating tools and models to enhance tracking and efficiency.
Continuous improvement methodologies: Learning and applying methodologies like PPI and Six Sigma to promote improvement initiatives.
Cross-functional collaboration: Working with program management, engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, and finance teams to achieve business objectives.

Compensation & Relocation:

Undergraduate Engineering co-ops receive an hourly rate between $21.50 and $28.75, depending on location (aligned with cost-of-living). A $5,000 relocation stipend is offered if the student lives 50+ miles from the co-op location.

Qualifications:

• Undergraduate student pursuing an Engineering-related degree.
• 0 years of work experience required; previous internships are preferred.
• Demonstrated track record of integrity, innovation, involvement, and intensity.
• Ability to champion change, achieve results, and navigate ambiguity.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and high emotional intelligence.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship (F-1, J-1, H-1, OPT, and CPT visas are not accepted for this position).
