Engineering Co-op Position
Location: Mosinee, Wisconsin
Duration: January – August 2025 (Full-time)
Responsibilities:
• Maintain Safety and Compliance: Adhere to Ahlstrom’s manufacturing, hygiene processes, procedures, and policies to ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Optimize Asset Efficiency: Develop and implement preventative and predictive maintenance processes to reduce unplanned downtime and enhance asset efficiency.
• Collaborate on Maintenance Planning: Work with plant teams and maintenance personnel to plan daily, weekly, and shutdown maintenance activities.
• Project Support: Contribute to capital and maintenance projects.
• Continuous Improvement: Initiate and facilitate projects to improve maintenance processes.
• Troubleshooting and Investigation: Investigate maintenance needs and support operational requirements.
• Support Maintenance Craftsman: Provide assistance with daily tasks.
• Procurement: Collaborate with suppliers for ordering equipment and parts.
• Documentation: Document equipment specifications and history.
Requirements:
• Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
• Education: Enrolled in an Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or related degree program.
• Location: Living in or willing to relocate to the Mosinee, Wisconsin area from January – August 2025.
• Work Schedule: Ability to work full-time for the duration of the position.
• Experience: Strong desire to work in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment.
• Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels of the organization.
• Technical Skills: Strong technical aptitude and proven problem-solving abilities.
Compensation: $25.00 per hour
