What You’ll Actually Do
• Document Drafting: Review and draft legal documents specifically related to employment law cases.
• Discovery Management: Collect necessary information and formulate responses to discovery requests effectively.
• Client Relations: Cultivate and maintain strong communication channels with clients and other relevant contacts.
• Case Preparation: Coordinate and prepare materials for court hearings, trials, and various alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
• Deadline Adherence: Proactively manage and ensure all legal deadlines and calendar obligations are consistently met.
The Must-Haves
• Background: This role requires a detail-oriented and proactive professional with a comprehensive understanding of employment law procedures, court rules, and various filing processes essential for navigating legal challenges.
• Experience: Candidates must possess a minimum of 3 years of dedicated employment law paralegal experience. This includes proven ability in drafting a range of legal documents, managing discovery requests, and preparing motions.
• Skills: The successful candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to minute details, exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple deadlines and priorities concurrently, and strong communication, time management, and interpersonal abilities to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Bonus: A paralegal certificate or equivalent formal training is preferred for this position.
