About The Role: Employer Branding Intern

Cognite is seeking a dynamic, well-connected, and enthusiastic ASU student to serve as an Employer Branding Intern. This role is pivotal in building and amplifying Cognite’s employer brand presence on the ASU campus, acting as an on-campus ambassador and liaison. The primary goal is to strengthen Cognite’s visibility among business and engineering students, showcasing the company’s products, people, and culture. This position is ideal for someone energized by networking, storytelling, and strategic outreach who desires to make a significant impact on a growing AI company.

The intern will work directly under the Vice President of Internal Communications and Employer Branding, in close collaboration with Cognite’s Talent Acquisition and Marketing teams.

What You’ll Do:
• Act as the primary bridge between ASU and Cognite for all outreach and brand engagement activities.
• Cultivate strong relationships with ASU’s career centers in the W.P. Carey School of Business and Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering.
• Develop trusted and productive relationships with key ASU contacts in both college administration and student leadership.
• Actively promote Cognite internships and full-time role opportunities to attract high-performing students.
Coordinate opportunities for Cognite leaders to participate in campus activities, including speaking in classrooms, sponsoring hackathons, hosting student competitions, and mentoring students interested in AI careers.
Connect with ASU student clubs to arrange tours of Cognite’s offices, increasing direct student engagement.
Contribute ideas and content for Cognite’s LinkedIn, Instagram, and Careers website page, spotlighting the company’s people, culture, and core values, in collaboration with marketing and talent acquisition.
Support the development of employer branding campaigns by curating student-focused stories, social posts, and visuals like photos, videos, and branded graphics.
Embrace AI tools and digital platforms to optimize content planning, communication, and creation.
Set measurable engagement and outreach goals, providing weekly recaps of results.

Who You Are:
• A highly motivated senior (or junior) at ASU who excels in collaboration and takes initiative.
• Possessing a strong interest in branding, marketing, recruiting, storytelling, and corporate communications.
Deeply connected within the ASU student community, particularly within the business and engineering school ecosystems, student clubs, and career centers.
• A natural go-getter with excellent communication skills, organizational abilities, and time management skills. You possess a growth mindset, being inquisitive and seeking feedback for continuous improvement.
• Excited by the prospect of networking and creating strong working relationships that will foster Cognite’s partnership with ASU for mutual benefit.
• Proficient in social media, digital tools, and AI-driven platforms, with an eye for creating engaging, authentic, and on-brand content.
Bonus points if you have prior experience with campus events, student clubs, or in a creative/marketing role.
