Description: Embark Scholar Intern – Technology

KPMG’s Embark Scholars Program offers a technology internship designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of professional services. The internship involves rotations across KPMG’s audit, tax, and advisory businesses.

Responsibilities:

Exposure to Diverse Areas: Rotate through different service lines (audit, tax, advisory) to gain a holistic perspective of client services and career paths within professional services.
Hands-on Experience: Work on a variety of assignments, supporting engagement teams in tasks such as data extraction, data analysis, and application of audit methodologies. Contribute to the creation of work papers, client reports, and deliverables. Participate in business development activities.
Analytical Skills Development: Assist in scoping engagement capabilities, reviewing client materials, and developing insightful analysis to enhance project execution.
Technology Utilization: Utilize a range of technologies and analytics tools in daily tasks.
Financial Integrity: Contribute to the maintenance of accurate and transparent financial information.

Currently pursuings:

Education: Currently enrolled in an accredited college, university, or community college pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field. Must have completed at least one semester of coursework at the time of application and have at least three additional semesters remaining upon completion of the internship.
GPA: Preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Skills: Excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills. Ability to work effectively as a flexible and adaptable team player. Resourcefulness in delivering high-quality work.
Location & Transportation: Must reside within commuting distance of the office and have reliable transportation. Work may occur in the office, at client sites (potentially requiring travel and overnight stays).
Eligibility: Must be 18 years or older by June 1, 2025, and authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship. KPMG does not sponsor visas for this position.
