About the Internship
KPMG is seeking an Embark Scholar Intern for its Embark Scholars program. The Embark Scholars program is a leadership and recruiting program for college and university students who are interested in a career in professional services.
As an Embark Scholar Intern, you will rotate through KPMG’s audit, tax, and advisory businesses to learn and understand how the firm serves its clients. You will work on a variety of projects, including:
• Data extraction and data analysis
• Assisting engagement teams with audit methodology and Data and Analytics (D&A)
• Creating work paper files
• Preparing client reports and deliverables
• Organizing business development activities
You will also have the opportunity to develop your leadership skills and network with KPMG professionals.
Currently pursuings
• Must be enrolled in an accredited college, university, or community college and pursuing or intending to pursue a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accountancy, Taxation, or a related field.
• GPA of 3.00 or above
• Excellent communication, task, time management, and leadership skills
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be able to travel to client sites
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship
