What You’ll Actually Do
• Instruct: Provide personalized 1-on-1 online tutoring to elementary school students in various math subjects.
• Schedule: Set individual hours and manage availability for tutoring sessions.
• Invoice: Submit invoices for completed tutoring sessions to ensure fast and reliable compensation.
• Enhance: Utilize the AI-powered Tutor Copilot for real-time instructional support, lesson generation, and engagement features to save prep time.
• Connect: Accept on-demand tutoring requests for instant support whenever available.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Deep knowledge of elementary math concepts including number sense, place value, operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division), basic fractions and decimals, measurement, time, money, geometry shapes, patterns, and introductory data interpretation, sufficient for building arithmetic foundations for upper elementary and middle school readiness.
• Experience: Skilled at breaking down complex math concepts and word problems using hands-on manipulatives, drawings, and visual models; familiar with elementary math standards for grades one through five and common student challenges.
• Skills: Ability to identify common student struggles, explain material using multiple approaches, adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs and styles, strong communication skills, and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
