Become a Part of Our Team: Elektroniker für Automatisierungstechnik (m/w/d)

Cargill is offering an exciting opportunity to join their team as an Elektroniker für Automatisierungstechnik (m/w/d) starting in September 2024. This 3.5-year apprenticeship will provide you with the skills to set up complex, computer-controlled industrial systems.

Your Role:

• As an Elektroniker für Automatisierungstechnik, you will ensure that individual components seamlessly integrate to form a functioning automated system (both hardware and software).
• You will program and test systems, commission them, and maintain them to ensure continuous, 24/7 operation.

What You Will Learn:

• Fundamentals of Metalworking: You will gain a solid foundation in metalworking, including wiring and assembling mechanical and electrical components.
• Automation of Industrial Systems: You will master various areas within automation, including drive technology, power electronics, measurement and control technology, pneumatics, sensor technology, and control technology.

Qualifications:

• Education: Fachhochschulreife (technical college entrance qualification) or a good secondary school diploma with strong grades in science subjects.
• Interest: A genuine interest in the production of food, computer-controlled machines, and IT.
• Work Ethic: A high level of commitment, initiative, and willingness to learn.
