Description

This position involves performing test operations utilizing test methods and/or written or verbal instructions. Specific duties include:

Testing Operations:
• Performing tests based on provided test methods, specifications, or instructions.
• Obtaining and utilizing reference documentation such as test methods, specification drawings, and schematics.
• Setting up and operating test equipment for various tests and troubleshooting production equipment.
• Conducting tests on first-piece production models, working with Manufacturing and Design Engineering for a smooth transition to production.
• Making adjustments and removing components for fault isolation as needed.
• Operating automated test systems using test software.
• Performing fault isolation on production components.
• Keeping accurate production records, logbooks, and test data.

Important Notes:

• This position requires a government security clearance, meaning you must be a US Citizen to be considered.
• This is a 2nd Shift position.

Internship Requirements

Basic Currently pursuings:

• Experience performing test operations based on test methods, written or verbal instructions.
• Experience using varied electronic test equipment.
• Electronic Technology Certificate/Degree.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Candidate will require a SECRET Clearance but can start with an Interim Secret Clearance.
• Must be a US Citizen.

Desired Skills:

• Experience testing hardware (Analog, Digital, and Power).
• Familiarity with Radio Frequency (RF) measurement equipment and techniques.
• Experience with test equipment including signal generators, oscilloscopes, volt meters, spectrum analyzers, power meters, network analyzers, etc.
• Understanding of VSWR and Noise interactions with RF Components.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in a team environment.
• Experience troubleshooting down to the component level.
