Electro-Optical & Infrared Systems (EOIS) Summer Internship Program
The Electro Optical Infrared Systems (EOIS) line of business within DRS, with locations in Dallas and Austin, TX, Melbourne, FL, and Cypress, CA, is seeking talented individuals for its Summer Internship Program. EOIS is dedicated to developing, manufacturing, and supporting infrared and electro-optical solutions for soldiers, ground vehicles, and airborne platforms.

Job Summary

Job Responsibilities
- Perform entry-level professional administrative staff duties in support of functional areas, with responsibilities gradually increasing in difficulty.
- Project a professional company image through all in-person and phone interactions.
- Type and word-process draft documents and electronic information accurately.
- Prepare routine reports with appropriate guidance.
- Manage, organize, and update relevant data using various database applications.
- Assist in arranging meetings, conferences, and project team activities.
- Adhere strictly to procedures relating to the proper use and care of equipment and materials.
- Support, communicate, reinforce, and defend the mission, values, and culture of the organization.
Qualifications
- Must be actively enrolled in a 4-year undergraduate Engineering degree program in Electrical Engineering (EE), Computer Science (CS), or Software Engineering (SWE).
- Have completed at least 2 years of college and be at least a Junior or Senior at the time of application.
- Possess a 3.0 GPA or better.
- Demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills.
- Exhibit the ability to solve complex problems using your natural curiosity.
- Able to work effectively as a member of a team or on individual tasks.

- U.S. Citizenship required.
- This position requires an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.
