The TL;DR

What You’ll Actually Do
• Design: Assist senior engineers with routine electrical design tasks for building projects.
• Documentation: Prepare Electrical plans and specifications for various project phases.
• Quality Control: Review calculations and drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with engineering standards.
• Project Support: Handle other duties as assigned by the supervisor, contributing to diverse project phases and objectives.
• Project Exposure: Contribute to projects involving interior power distribution, interior and exterior lighting, utility power distribution, motors and transformers, and telecommunications.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering program from an ABET accredited institution or an equivalent program, having successfully completed coursework addressing Basic Circuits. This is an early career position focused on foundational knowledge.
• Experience: Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications is required.
• Skills: Strong problem-solving skills; effective oral and written communication skills, coupled with strong interpersonal capabilities; the ability to coordinate effectively with other engineering teams and disciplines across multiple office locations; and strong time-management skills to work independently within a team environment and meet project deadlines.
• Bonus: Fundamentals of Engineering (EIT) Registration; experience or working knowledge of AutoDesk Revit.
