• Mission: Support and deliver projects, implement operational improvements, and ensure the necessary governance for the reliable deployment of VPI’s generation portfolio in the UK and Ireland.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support: Deliver and support projects within the Electrical Engineering team.
• Improve: Implement operational improvements across VPI’s generation portfolio.
• Ensure: Ensure the necessary governance for the reliable deployment of VPI’s generation assets in the UK and Ireland.
• Develop: Expand your professional capabilities and knowledge, ultimately preparing for chartership and beyond.
• Understand: Gain a clear understanding of plant operations through a minimum of 10 weeks of placements at various UK sites.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering; Early Career.
• Experience: No specific years of experience are required. Must hold a valid Driving License and have access to a car.
• Skills: Good communication skills, strong IT and Microsoft Office capabilities, good organisational skills.
• Bonus: A positive ‘can do’ mentality, self-motivation, ability to think laterally and flexibly, and a desire to learn about the UK power market. Ability to commute within one hour of the Damhead Creek power station site and be on site 5 days a week.
