Job Description: East Coast Pricing & Inside Sales Coordinator

Position Overview:

BGI is seeking a highly detail-oriented and analytical Pricing & Inside Sales Coordinator to join their team. This role is instrumental in ensuring BGI maintains its competitive edge in pricing and continues to deliver the exceptional service its clients expect. Key Responsibilities:

• Help complete accurate, competitive pricing quotations, ensuring timely delivery of all quotes to customers and prospects.
• Negotiate price and service terms with key domestic and international vendors.
• Monitor market trends to help adjust pricing strategies, keeping BGI competitive.
• Keep track of quote statuses and follow up on quotes to meet deadlines.
• Communicate effectively with customers and vendors throughout the world.
• Assist in onboarding new clients, ensuring necessary documentation is complete.
• Develop relationships with clients to uncover needs and opportunities for BGI.
• Assist in the development and implementation of customer SOPs.
• Coordinate with BGI teams to ensure a positive new client experience.
• Coordinate and monitor booking approvals and on-time departures.
• Maintain CRM records of customer quotes and marketing activities.
• Employ and help develop BGI marketing content for prospects and customers.
• Support the sales team with administrative tasks and coordination efforts.
• Occasional travel to visit customers alongside the JFK Team.

• Good judgment in making timely and informed decisions.
• Previous freight forwarding and/or pricing experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of CargoWise systems and Excel is a plus.

Location:

This is an East Coast-based position. Hybrid or work-from-home schedules are available.

Hours:

The standard work hours are 7:30 am – 4:30 pm EST.
