Job Description
Lockheed Martin Space in White Sands Missile Range, NM is seeking a full-time Early Career Spacecraft/Satellite Flight Operations TS/SCI to join their team. This role will support a 24/7 crew or direct support day staff position within Flight Operations. You must be willing to work rotating shifts. This position will provide you with the opportunity to utilize your current engineering skills and receive extensive training through an education and certification program to enhance your skills and support an important customer mission.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support a 24/7 crew or direct support day staff position within Flight Operations.
• Work rotating shifts.
• Utilize current engineering skills to support an important customer mission.
• Receive extensive training and certification to further enhance your skills.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in a science and technology-related program such as Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Systems Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
• US Citizenship is required due to the government security clearance required for this role.
Desired Skills:

• Ability to work well in group settings.
• Experience working with on-orbit spacecraft or satellite flight operations.
• Familiarity with any of the following: LINUX, MATLAB, JAVA, C++, PERL, ORACLE/SQL, HTML, or XML.
• Understanding of software / hardware infrastructure, middleware, and system architectures.
Security Clearance:
• This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
• Clearance Level: TS/SCI with Polygraph
Other Important Information:
• This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
• Ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance is required for this role.
• This role is onsite full-time and will be performed at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
• Work schedules are flexible, ranging from standard 40 hours over a five-day work week to condensed schedules providing employees with additional time away from the office.
• This position is on a rotating 40-hour week schedule as assigned by the leader.
