Description: Early Career Spacecraft/Satellite Flight Operations TS/SCI

Location: White Sands Missile Range, NM

Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Rotating 40-hour week as assigned by leader

Security Clearance: This position requires a US Citizen and a government security clearance. You must be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance for consideration.

Description:

Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full-time Early Career Spacecraft/Satellite Flight Operations TS/SCI. You will be supporting a 24/7 crew or direct support day staff position within Flight Operations and must be willing to work rotating shifts.

This role offers extensive training and certification programs to enhance your current engineering skills in support of an important customer mission.

Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for supporting various aspects of spacecraft and satellite flight operations.
• You may be supporting a 24/7 crew or direct support day staff position.
• You will receive training and certification to utilize your current engineering skills for this critical mission.

Currently pursuings:

Basic Currently pursuings:

• Bachelor’s degree in a science and technology related program such as Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Systems Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
• Must be a US Citizen.

Desired Skills:

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Ability to work well in group settings
• Experience working with on-orbit spacecraft or satellite flight operations
• Familiarity with LINUX, MATLAB, JAVA, C++, PERL, ORACLE/SQL, HTML, or XML
• Understanding of software/hardware infrastructure, middleware, and system architectures
