Job Description: Early Career Spacecraft/Satellite Flight Operations TS/SCI

Lockheed Martin Space in White Sands Missile Range, NM, is looking for a full-time Early Career Spacecraft/Satellite Flight Operations TS/SCI. In this role, you will support a 24/7 crew or direct support day staff position within Flight Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for supporting a vital customer mission by utilizing your existing engineering skills.
• You will receive extensive training through an education and certification program to enhance your skillset.
• This position requires working rotating shifts and the ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance.

Qualifications:

Required: Bachelor’s degree in a science and technology related field such as Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Systems Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or related disciplines. Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance.
Desired: Strong problem-solving skills, strong communication skills, self-motivated learning attitude, ability to work effectively in group settings, prior experience with on-orbit spacecraft or satellite flight operations. Familiarity with LINUX, MATLAB, JAVA, C++, PERL, ORACLE/SQL, HTML, or XML. Understanding of software/hardware infrastructure, middleware, and system architectures.

Important Details:

• This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

• Lockheed Martin offers a variety of alternate work schedules, including condensed schedules that provide additional time away from the office. This position requires a rotating 40-hour workweek as assigned by the leader.
