Job Description:
Lockheed Martin is seeking a full-time Early Career Software Engineer for their C2BMC program. This role involves developing software capabilities for product implementation and demonstrating completed tasks within a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities:
• Develop software capabilities for product implementation.
• Demonstrate completed software tasks.
• Collaborate effectively within a team.
Required Skills and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Physics, Aerospace Engineering, Software Engineering, or a similar engineering-focused degree.
• Proficiency in Java/C++ or a similar language.
• US Citizenship (required for government security clearance).
Desired Skills and Experience:
• Experience with Git, Eclipse, and Jenkins.
• A strong desire to work in a team environment.
• An active security clearance (a plus).
• A Computer Science minor (or significant coursework) for non-Computer Science majors.
Security Clearance:
A government security clearance is required for this position. Applicants must be US citizens for consideration. The clearance level is Secret.
Work Location and Schedule:
This position is onsite, full-time at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The offered schedule is a 4×10-hour day, resulting in 3 days off per week. Lockheed Martin offers various alternative work schedules for increased employee flexibility.
Relocation: Relocation may be possible.
