Job Description: Early Career Procurement Representative Associate
This role is within the Materials Cost Estimating Team and plays a crucial role in supporting proposal efforts for Lockheed Martin.
Responsibilities:
• Interfacing with industry suppliers to request and receive quotations.
• Creating Requests For Quotes (RFQs) within their procurement system (LMP2P).
• Ensuring accurate communication and pricing input.
• Analyzing vendor responses to align with proposal needs and help maximize competition among vendors.
• Performing various material cost estimating administrative tasks as needed.
Ideal Candidate:
You are a detail-oriented professional with experience or knowledge in procurement, vendor analysis, and cost estimation. You are eager to engage with suppliers, manage RFQs, and contribute to proposal success. Your ability to handle administrative tasks with precision ensures that the procurement processes run smoothly.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• General Microsoft Office Suite knowledge with strong Excel skills (data manipulation, vlookups, reporting).
• Ability to work with numbers, data, and units of measure.
• Familiarity with Bills of Material, buying experience, and the ability to work and communicate effectively with suppliers.
Desired Skills:
• Organized with an attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
• Strong communication skills (phone and email).
• Previous Lockheed Martin supply chain experience.
