Job Description: Early Career Investments Program (ECIP) Internship
Program Purpose: The Early Career Investments Program (ECIP) aims to attract and develop aspiring investment professionals to join Invesco’s Investments organization. This program recruits and trains high-caliber talent to build the next generation of investors at the firm.
Program Overview: This internship position is a pipeline into the full-time Early Career Investor Program, offering a unique opportunity to experience the inner workings of a real-world investment team. The program begins with a 10-week internship in June 2025, taking place between a student’s junior and senior year of college.
Internship Experience:
• During the internship, you will be paired with an investment team (Fixed Income, Private Credit, Active Equities, or Multi Asset Strategies) and support their daily functions.
• Near the end of the internship, you will have the chance to receive a full-time job offer from Invesco Investments, starting after graduation.
• After graduation, you will begin your career with an integrative onboarding and a 12-month rotation through fixed income, equities, and alternatives investment teams.
• Upon completing the rotations, you will transition into a permanent position within one of Invesco’s investment teams.
Rotation Details:
• Early Career Investors gain a foundational understanding of the investment landscape, including market commentary, investment pitches from experienced managers, and internal strategic discussions.
• You will receive guidance from portfolio managers and analysts, and benefit from peer support during the rotation.
• Working with public or private investment teams provides a hands-on experience in the full investment process and portfolio decision-making.
• Typical assignments involve assisting with security trading, contributing to research and analysis, monitoring portfolio positioning, and developing applications to enhance portfolio management.
Program Requirements:
• Authorization to work permanently in the U.S. (no immigration sponsorship is offered).
• Creative problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Demonstrated interest in investments.
• Ability to gather and interpret market data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel.
• Strong prioritization skills, meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work in one of Invesco’s offices where the program is available.
• Prior internship in investment management preferred.
• Major or coursework in Finance, Accounting, Data Science, Computer Science, Actuarial Science, Financial Engineering, Engineering, Liberal Arts, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or Business is a plus.
• Must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree and be a rising junior, graduating by summer 2026.
• Minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale.

Hourly Rate: $35/hour USD for the New York City position.
