Job Description – Early Career Investments Program (ECIP)

Purpose:

The Early Career Investments Program (ECIP) aims to attract and develop talented aspiring professionals to join Invesco’s Investments organization. This program recruits and trains high-caliber individuals to contribute to the future of Invesco as the next generation of investors.

Overview:

This program is a pipeline into Invesco’s full-time Early Career Investor Program, offering a unique opportunity to experience the inner workings of a real-world investment team. The program starts with a 10-week internship in June 2025, taking place between a student’s junior and senior year in college. During the internship, participants are paired with an investment team, gaining hands-on experience in their day-to-day functions.

Teams could include:

• Fixed Income
• Private Credit
• Active Equities
• Multi Asset Strategies

At the end of the internship, high-performing participants will be offered a full-time job at Invesco Investments, starting after graduation.

Post-Graduation:

After graduating, the program offers an integrative onboarding experience followed by a 12-month rotation across fixed income, equities, and alternatives investment teams. Upon completion of the rotations, participants transition into a permanent position with one of the investment teams.

Rotation Details:

This program provides a solid foundation for understanding the investment landscape. Participants gain hands-on experience with:

• Market commentary
• Investment pitches from experienced managers
• Internal strategic discussions

They receive guidance from portfolio managers and analysts and benefit from collaborating with peers in their cohort.

Participants contribute to the full investment process, including:

• Trading of securities
• Investment research and analysis
• Portfolio positioning monitoring
• Development of applications for the portfolio management process

Program Requirements:

• Authorization to work permanently in the U.S. (no sponsorship offered)
• Creative problem solver and analytical thinker
• Demonstrated interest in investments
• Ability to gather and interpret market data
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel
• Strong prioritization and deadline-meeting skills in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work in one of Invesco’s offices where the program is available
• Prior internship in investment management preferred
• Major or coursework in Finance, Accounting, Data Science, Computer Science, Actuarial Science, Financial Engineering, Engineering, Liberal Arts, Mathematics, Stats, Economics, or Business
• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree and a rising Junior graduating by summer 2026
• Minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale

Compensation:

$35/hour USD for the New York City position

Workplace Model:

Invesco supports a hybrid work model, requiring employees to work in their designated office at least three days a week with two days working outside the office.
