Job Description: E-Commerce Intern (North America)
Position Title: E-Commerce Intern
General Purpose of the Position:
The E-Commerce Intern for Loro Piana North America plays a crucial role in supporting the growth and success of the brand’s online business, with a particular emphasis on paid media performance and website analytics. This position involves assisting in the management and optimization of paid media campaigns, analyzing website data to identify trends and opportunities, and supporting data-driven decision-making to enhance overall e-commerce performance. The intern will also contribute to the creation and management of business-critical e-commerce reporting, maintain and update the E-Commerce Activation Calendar, and support local digital marketing initiatives for Loro Piana’s US and Canadian websites. This role offers a significant opportunity to gain knowledge in global e-commerce operations, paid media strategies, and website analytics within a prestigious luxury brand.
Job Responsibilities:
• Support the E-Commerce NA team across key functions, with a primary focus on Digital Marketing and analytics.
• Maintain and organize the E-Commerce NA Activation Calendar for the team.
• Create trackers to monitor performance for new product launches and performance marketing campaigns.
• Lead the briefing process for digital campaigns across various platforms, including Meta, TikTok, Google, and Pinterest, ensuring strategic alignment and effective execution.
• Support cross-functional collaboration with Headquarters (HQ), creative teams, and external agencies to ensure seamless project management and successful execution of e-commerce initiatives.
• Create and maintain templates for internal E-Commerce Bulletins.
• Develop and maintain a monthly competitive brand e-commerce activation report to keep the team informed on the latest digital and e-commerce developments in the industry.
• Perform ad hoc analysis for the latest E-Commerce site performance on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis as required.
• Monitor Global, US, and Canada site updates and developments, providing frequent feedback to NA and HQ teams.
• Respond to ad hoc team and client requests as needed.
Skills and Abilities Required (Profile):
• Strong understanding of the digital space, specifically concerning e-commerce, user experience, delivery experience, retail trends, and digital media.
• Affinity for luxury, fashion & leather goods, coupled with knowledge of recent and long-term trends in the category.
• Experience managing and working with third-party digital marketing partners.
• Proactive project management skills, including the ability to anticipate challenges, develop solutions, and successfully complete projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, encompassing copywriting skills and the ability to present information succinctly to the E-Commerce team.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and proficiency in preparing reports, presentations, and analyses using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical skills: proficiency in Excel, ability to understand and interpret numerous key performance indicators (KPIs), and deep knowledge of Google Analytics or other site analytics platforms.
• Good understanding of CRM (Customer Relationship Management), email, and client segmentation analysis.
• Possess a positive, collaborative, hands-on, and energetic attitude.
Compensation:
The published salary range is used as a guideline to provide market-competitive pay, with flexibility to recognize and reward various levels of expertise, performance, and tenure. While the published salary range is a good faith reflection of the targeted salary level for the position, Loro Piana reserves the right to pay outside of the published salary range of $20 USD per hour.
