The role is essential for ensuring the timely and accurate flow of information, advising litigation teams, and supporting the firm’s legal processes across various state, federal, and regulatory matters. • Mission: Responsible for maintaining the firm-wide docket and calendar for various state, federal and regulatory matters, and processing filings.
• Tech Stack: CompuLaw, CourtAlert, MS Office, PACER, NYSCEF, Bloomberg Law, Lexis, Westlaw

What You’ll Actually Do
• Calendaring: Coordinate and perform calendaring functions, including maintaining the firm’s litigation and/or Intellectual Property calendar using firm-approved programs.
• Advisory: Advise members of the Litigation Department on matters of deadline calculation, court rules, civil procedure, and filing protocol.
• Filings: Process conventional and electronic filings in various state and federal courts and before regulatory agencies.
• Notifications: Ensure that lawyers are timely notified of filing deadlines and court appearances.
• Review: Screen and review incoming court documents and office correspondence to calculate and calendar relevant deadlines using the firm’s docketing system.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree with core domain knowledge in law firm docketing and calendaring functions.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ related experience, with proficiency in CompuLaw and/or CourtAlert.
• Skills: Strong organizational skills, professional interpersonal and communication skills, high-level customer service skills, and the ability to apply court rules in multiple jurisdictions quickly and efficiently.
