Job Description:
The Disney Trainee Program offers a six-month opportunity for aspiring designers to gain practical experience within Disney’s design department. Participants will work on real-world projects, gaining technical and professional skills, and collaborating with diverse Disney Cast Members and professionals.
Specific Responsibilities:
• Product Design Support: Assist in the creation of product design materials, including mood board development using Keynote and graphic design support using Illustrator and Photoshop.
• New Design Development: Contribute to the ideation process for new design concepts, conducting market research and providing creative input.
• Material Collection and Creation: Collect and create various materials to support design projects.
Ideal Candidate:
• Currently enrolled in a university, graduate school, or specialized school in the field of art (year of study is not a factor).
• Proficient in design software like Photoshop, Illustrator, and Keynote.
• Ability to commit to a minimum of three days per week with less than 20 hours of work per week, or the possibility of working remotely.
• Available to start in August or September 2024.
• Passionate about the entertainment industry, specifically Disney’s brand and franchises (especially Mickey & Friends, Disney Classics, Pixar, and Disney Animation).
• Strong communication skills and a proactive learning attitude.
