About Deloitte Discovery Internship
Join Deloitte’s Discovery Internship and get a firsthand experience of working in a professional services organization. This internship is open to all eligible students, particularly encouraging applications from diverse backgrounds including Black or African-American, Hispanic or Latinx, American Indian or Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander, or those identifying with two or more races.
During this seven-week internship, you’ll be assigned to one or more client projects where you’ll receive mentorship and support. Beyond real-world project experience, you’ll participate in national and local learning and networking events. Ongoing learning opportunities include lunch and learns, industry/service line spotlights, and regularly scheduled training focused on developing technical and client service skills. This program will provide valuable insight into a career at Deloitte and allow you to build a strong professional network. Social activities are planned throughout the internship to further facilitate networking with Deloitte professionals.
As an intern, you’ll be expected to:

You’ll be supported throughout the internship by:
• A mentorship team: Including a counselor (typically a manager or senior manager) providing career guidance and feedback, and an onboarding advisor (a peer-level “buddy”) offering support and insights into making the most of the internship experience.
• Additional mentors: Both formal and informal, identified throughout the internship. These relationships can extend beyond the internship and provide valuable connections for the future.
The internship includes a formal goal-setting and evaluation process. Based on performance and other factors, Discovery interns may be offered subsequent internship opportunities at Deloitte.
Job Description
This internship is designed for college students with:
• Anticipated graduation date of 2027
• Plans to pursue a bachelor’s degree in a business, accounting, economics, STEM, or related field.
• Strong academic performance (minimum GPA of 2.8)
• Extracurricular activities
• At least 18 years of age at the time of employment
Additional requirements based on specific career path:
• Deloitte Risk & Financial Advisory applicants: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without needing employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
• Government & Public Services applicants: Must be able to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
Preferred qualifications:
• GPA of 3.2
• Proven history of collegiate level leadership (e.g., membership in campus clubs or societies) with a preference for involvement in organizations committed to inclusion.
• Proven history of collegiate philanthropic activity.
Compensation:
• The wage range for this role takes into account factors such as skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and business/organizational needs.
• The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for geographic differentials.
• At Deloitte, it’s not typical for individuals to be hired at or near the top of the range. Compensation decisions are based on individual circumstances.
• A reasonable estimate of the current range is $32.
