Deloitte Discovery Internship (Accounting Profile) – Freshman/Sophomore

Position Summary

Join Deloitte’s select group of Discovery interns and gain an inside look at what it’s truly like to work for a professional services organization. This internship is open to all eligible students, with a particular focus on diversity.

Work You’ll Do

Real-World Projects: Participate in one or more projects, receiving mentorship and support to ensure success.
National & Local Learning Events: Gain exposure to diverse learning and networking opportunities.
Ongoing Development: Participate in lunch and learns, industry/service line spotlights, and technical and client service skill training.
Networking: Build professional connections with Deloitte professionals through various social activities.
Teamwork & Leadership: Collaborate effectively with team members, demonstrate leadership qualities, and adapt to change.

How You’ll Grow

Mentorship: Benefit from a mentorship team consisting of a counselor (manager/senior manager) and onboarding advisor (peer level).
Formal Goal Setting & Evaluation: Participate in a structured evaluation process to track your progress.
Potential Future Opportunities: Based on performance, receive a subsequent internship opportunity at Deloitte.

Qualifications

Required:

• College student with anticipated graduation date of 2028 pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
CPA eligible, including required credit hours for the CPA exam upon graduation.
• Strong academic performance with extracurricular activities.
• At least 18 years of age at the time of employment.

Preferred:

• GPA of 3.2
• Proven history of collegiate level leadership (campus club or society membership, preference for inclusion-focused organizations).
• Proven history of collegiate philanthropic activity.

Compensation:

• Wage range: $25 to $25.
• Note: Actual compensation will vary based on experience, qualifications, and other factors.
