Job Description: Deloitte Discovery Internship:

Overview:
This seven-week internship offers a deep dive into the world of professional services at Deloitte. It’s open to all eligible students, with a special emphasis on attracting diverse candidates.

What you’ll do:
Real-world experience: You’ll be assigned to one or more client projects, providing hands-on experience under the guidance of experienced mentors.
Networking and learning: The internship includes national and local events for networking and skill development, including lunch and learns, industry spotlights, and training sessions.
Career insights: You’ll gain a firsthand understanding of what a career with Deloitte entails, build a professional network, and develop essential skills.

How you’ll grow:
Mentorship: You’ll be paired with a counselor (manager or senior manager) and an onboarding advisor (peer) for guidance and support. You’ll also have opportunities for informal mentoring.
Formal evaluation: The program includes goal-setting and evaluation to ensure your development and success.
Future opportunities: Depending on your performance, you may have the chance to secure a subsequent internship opportunity at Deloitte.

Qualifications:
Required:
• College student with an anticipated graduation date of 2027.
• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, economics, STEM, or a related field.
• Strong academic record (minimum GPA of 2.8) with extracurricular involvement.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship (for Deloitte Risk & Financial Advisory).
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (for Government & Public Services).
Preferred:
• GPA of 3.2 or higher.
• Demonstrated leadership through involvement in campus clubs or organizations (with a preference for inclusive organizations).
• Experience in collegiate philanthropic activities.
