Job Description: Discovery II Intern – Government & Public Services Risk & Financial Advisory
The Opportunity:
This seven-week internship offers a unique opportunity to experience the world of professional services at Deloitte. You’ll gain hands-on experience working on real client projects, receiving mentorship and support to ensure your success. Beyond project work, the program includes networking events, learning sessions, and training designed to develop technical and client service skills.
What You’ll Do:
• Client Projects: You’ll be assigned to one or more client projects within the Government & Public Services Risk & Financial Advisory practice. This provides valuable exposure to real-world challenges and practical experience.
• Mentorship: A dedicated mentorship team, including a counselor (manager or senior manager) and a peer onboarding advisor, will guide you throughout the internship.
• Learning and Networking: Participate in national and local events, lunch and learns, industry spotlights, and training sessions to develop your skills and expand your professional network.

Qualifications:
Required:
• College student with an anticipated graduation date of 2027.
• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, economics, STEM, or a related field.
• Strong academic performance (minimum GPA of 2.8).
• Active involvement in extracurricular activities.
• Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of employment.
Preferred:
• GPA of 3.2 or higher.
• Proven history of collegiate leadership (e.g., membership in campus clubs or societies).
• Strong preference for affiliation with organizations committed to inclusion.
• Proven history of collegiate philanthropic activity.
