Job Description: Discover Universal YouTube Content Creator Intern
This internship provides a comprehensive overview of content creation and marketing for a major brand. The intern will assist in creating and publishing video content for Discover Universal on YouTube. This includes brainstorming ideas and talking points, implementing best practices for the channels, providing and collecting feedback, and analyzing results.
Major Responsibilities:
• Assisting the team in managing and optimizing YouTube channels.
• Researching talking points for show episodes.
• Providing and collecting feedback on creative content.
• Managing, publishing, and analyzing content performance on YouTube.
• Developing launch strategies for video content.
• Assisting with project workflow.
• Assessing and interpreting YouTube analytics.
• Providing on-set assistance when needed.
• Writing blog articles as needed.
• Understanding and participating in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established company policies and procedures.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing an Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or Graduate degree at an accredited institution.
• Sophomore standing or above.
• Minimum 2.8 GPA. A transcript is required with the application.
• Preferred majors: Digital Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Public Relations.
• Preferred coursework: Marketing, Communication, Writing, Project Management.
Preferred Skills & Knowledge:
• Background knowledge of YouTube and content creation.
Additional Notes:
• The internship is an in-person experience in Orlando, Florida.
• Interns must be enrolled at an accredited university and have a graduation date after December 2025.
• Universal Orlando does not provide housing; interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation. Housing financial assistance may be available (details from recruiter).
