Job Title: Digital Video Intern

Internship Term: Summer 2026 (May – August)

Internship Location: On-site in Indianapolis, IN

Anticipated Time Commitment: Approximately 20 hours per week

About the Role:

The Digital Video Intern will play a crucial role in supporting the video workflow for Pacers Sports & Entertainment’s official social channels, including those for the Pacers, Fever, Boom, and Gainbridge Fieldhouse. This internship is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about the sports and entertainment industry with a foundational knowledge of video production and/or broadcast photography.

The ideal candidate will possess experience with Adobe Creative Suite and professional video equipment. As an intern, you will primarily function as a video production assistant, actively participating in event coverage, interviews, and game days. This role requires efficient prioritization in a fast-paced environment, assisting in the organization and structuring of current and future projects, and meticulous logging/tagging of assets within the PS&E media management platform.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with comprehensive coverage during Pacers, Fever, and Boom games, including evenings and weekends. This involves video editing, handling of professional equipment, and meticulous logging of files.
• Contribute to the ideation and development of creative video concepts.
• Work within and actively manage our extensive video file library.
• Shoot and edit video interviews and highlights from team practices and games.
• Provide assistance in covering practice sessions and postgame media availabilities.
• Transcribe player and coaching sound bites for integration into web and video content.
• Undertake other duties and responsibilities as assigned, contributing to the overall team effort.

Required Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a college or university program as a junior, senior, or graduate student.
• Demonstrated strong video editing skills.
• Familiarity with Adobe Cloud applications (e.g., Premiere Pro, After Effects).
• Ability to maintain professional and journalistic relationships with players and coaches.
• Must be a collaborative team player, capable of problem-solving and delivering projects accurately, professionally, and on time, while providing outstanding customer service.
