Job Title: Digital Technology Intern

Job Summary/Overview:
As a Digital Technology Intern at GE Aerospace, individuals will have the opportunity to learn from industry leaders and contribute to impactful projects. The internship program emphasizes relationship building with fellow interns and leaders through various intern events. Interns will also benefit from professional development and mentoring opportunities designed to foster growth. Assignments are described as dynamic and challenging, customized to meet business needs and the specific type of work required. Interns gain significant exposure to key IT and Software business leaders and are supported by a global internship network to accelerate their learning. This experience can potentially lead to a full-time position after graduation, either within the Digital Technology Leadership Program or through a direct hire opportunity.

Essential Responsibilities:
The internship offers meaningful and impactful work. GE Aerospace organizes a vibrant summer events calendar for interns, which includes team building activities, career development opportunities, hackathons, and more. Interns are considered a vital pipeline for full-time employment opportunities at GE Aerospace, serving as either direct hires or future members of the company’s early talent leadership programs. Digital Technology Interns are assigned to specific business areas based on position availability, interviewer assessments, and applicant preferences.

Focus Areas (may include, but are not limited to):
• Digital Platforms
• Full Stack Development
• Cyber Security
• Commercial
• Data Analytics
• ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning)
• And other relevant areas within Digital Technology.

Qualifications/Requirements:
Education: Must be currently enrolled in an Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or Master’s Degree program at an accredited university or a credentialed software accelerator program.
Major Focus: Degree should be focused in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, IT Security, Informatics, Information Science/Technology, Management Information Systems, Software Engineering, Security and Risk Analysis, or other relevant STEM majors with Software/IT experience.
GPA: A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 out of a 4.0 scale (without rounding) is required.
Transportation: Reliable transportation is necessary, as many GE Aerospace sites do not have public transportation available.
Location: Willingness to work in either Cincinnati, OH, or Livonia, MI.

Eligibility Requirements:
• Any offer of employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen.

Export-Controlled Information: This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Benefits:
Pay Rate: Pay rates for this position start at $20/hour and increase based on each completed undergraduate year.
Relocation Support: Relocation support and housing assistance are available for interns who relocate to a new city for the program.
