Job Description: Digital Success Intern

This internship with Okta’s Digital Success team focuses on improving the customer experience and driving adoption of Okta’s products. The intern will work on measurable projects with a small team, contributing directly to customer success and company growth.

Responsibilities:

Maintain and optimize automated presentation decks: This includes conducting performance assessments and making recommendations for improvements like new feature integration and copy changes.
Execute iterative improvements: Based on product usage data and customer feedback, the intern will implement small-scale improvements to existing programs.
Develop strategic thinking: The intern will collaborate with Senior Digital Growth Managers, learning strategic skills and assisting in the execution of their strategies.
Identify personalization opportunities: The intern will analyze the digital customer experience across various platforms (Customer Success Hub, automated decks, email programs) and identify opportunities for increased personalization.
Present findings to stakeholders: At the end of the internship, the intern will present their learnings and accomplishments to leadership.

Qualifications:

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher, graduating December 2025 or Spring 2026, with coursework in Business, Marketing, Data Science, Communications, or a related field.
• A “can-do” attitude, willingness to learn, and curiosity.
• Familiarity with or genuine interest in Okta and identity security.
• Experience developing digital strategies (preferably for B2B tech companies).
• Data-driven approach to building insights and recommendations.
• Ability to collaborate across multiple cross-functional teams (marketing, product, customer success, operations).
• Bonus points for experience with email marketing (Gainsight), in-app marketing (Pendo), value reporting (Matik), personalized video (SundaySky), and analytics tools (Tableau, Databricks, Google Analytics).

The internship is a 12-week summer program (U.S.) or 16-week co-op (Canada), offering real-world experience and mentorship. Interns will participate in company events and build a strong professional network. The position is hybrid, allowing for both in-office and remote work. Location options include Chicago, IL or Seattle/Bellevue, WA.
