Job Description: Digital & Performance Marketing Intern

This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of Disney+ by working on digital & performance marketing strategies and activities. You will gain invaluable experience in collaborating with various departments, including Lifecycle, Data & Analytics, and the Brand Marketing team.

Key responsibilities include:

End-to-End Performance Marketing: Drive subscriber acquisition and growth by managing performance-focused acquisition campaigns across digital media and affiliate marketing. This includes ideation, media planning, optimization, performance analysis, and identifying actionable insights.
Data-Driven Optimization: Identify growth opportunities, profitability, and efficiency improvements in current or new areas through strategic thinking, data analysis, and utilizing tools and technology for creative automation and data dashboards.
Campaign Management: Monitor and analyze campaign performance across internal and external platforms to identify optimization tactics and ensure consistent results. Make adjustments and optimize campaigns as needed.
Market Research and Benchmarking: Conduct local media benchmarking analysis to identify best-performing ads and competitor activity using media agency sources and internal 3rd party applications.
Local Market Expertise: Provide insight and input on local publishers, opportunities, and tactics for targeting new audiences and optimizing measurement metrics.
Cost Optimization: Deliver the most effective Cost of Acquisition (CPA) and expected Subscriber Volume, while also optimizing Cost per Reach/Engagement for awareness campaigns.
Agency Management: Collaborate with agencies to execute best-in-class subscriber acquisition activities and media placements, building brand awareness.
Mobile & App Campaign Expertise: Demonstrate a strong understanding of Mobile & App Install/Purchase lead (CPS-based) campaigns and utilize App-based 3rd party tools for optimization and data processing.

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Marketing Communications, Communications, Media, Data and Analytics, or a related field.
• Experience creating digital ads (banners/videos) is a plus.
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint, along with experience using Google Analytics.
• Demonstrated knowledge of data analysis and marketing dashboards.
• Digital native with a strong understanding of current digital media trends.

Internship Details:

• Full-time internship commitment (Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm) between January and June 2025.
