About This Role: Digital Marketing Intern
Launch That is offering a Digital Marketing Internship for individuals seeking hands-on experience in the field. This internship focuses on optimizing web content for search engines and assisting in the development of social media campaigns, providing a valuable opportunity to grow digital marketing skills.
• Duration: The internship runs for 4 months.
• Compensation: The pay is $13.00 per hour.
• Work Hours: Interns are expected to work up to 29 hours a week within a hybrid flexible workplace environment, allowing for accommodation of class schedules (e.g., working around morning or late afternoon classes).
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
The intern’s responsibilities will primarily revolve around SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and social media tasks:
• SEO Responsibilities:
• Conducting keyword research and competitive analysis using industry tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Google Search Console.
• Optimizing on-page elements such as titles, meta descriptions, headers, and internal linking.
• Assisting in identifying and fixing technical SEO issues, including broken links, redirects, and crawl errors.
• Helping to create or update content to align with SEO best practices.
• Monitoring website rankings and traffic using analytics tools and compiling simple reports.
• Measuring the effectiveness of specific SEO strategies by reporting from various sources like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Majestic, SEMRush, and Ahrefs.
• Social Media Responsibilities:
• Drafting and scheduling social media posts for platforms such as LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Facebook, and Instagram.
• Tracking performance metrics like engagement, reach, and clicks, and compiling simple reports.
Qualifications:
Candidates for the Digital Marketing Intern position should possess the following qualifications:
• Education: Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
• Technical Skills & Familiarity:
• Familiarity with basic SEO concepts and various social media platforms.
• Comfortable working with tools such as SEMRush, Ahrefs, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console.
