This is an unpaid, class credit-based internship designed for individuals with a strong passion for beauty, social media, and digital marketing. It offers a hands-on experience in a fast-paced, creative, and collaborative environment within the digital beauty category.
Internship Details:
• Type: Unpaid Internship (for class credit)
• Duration: 4 months
• Commitment: 15 hours per week (schedule determined upon hire)
• Focus: Digital Marketing, with a strong emphasis on social media content.
• Environment: Fast-paced, creative, collaborative, working with major global beauty brands.
Job Responsibilities:
The internship covers a wide range of digital marketing tasks, primarily divided into three key areas:
1. Account Management & Social Media:
• Assisting the team with day-to-day administrative and project-specific tasks.
• Monitoring performance metrics for content, campaigns, and social media ad activations.
• Reviewing aggregated data using social measurement tools and contributing to insights for client-facing reports.
• Scheduling and manually posting platform-specific content.
• Conducting regular trend checks and staying updated on app features.
• Contributing to content strategy and brainstorm sessions.
• Using Google Suite to support team operations.
2. Content Creation & Community Management:
• Drafting captions and supporting social media copywriting efforts.
• Helping to track brand mentions and sentiment across various platforms.
• Engaging with online communities across social platforms while consistently maintaining the brand’s voice.
• Providing insights for client-facing reports using social listening and analytics tools.
3. Influencer & Partnership Management and Social Listening:
• Actively monitoring and engaging with the online community, ensuring brand voice and expertise are maintained.
• Researching potential content creator partners.
• Ideating potential content ideas, staying current with trends in the social media and beauty industries.
• Assisting in the contracting and briefing process for paid content creators for brand partnerships.
• Supporting the briefing, contracting, and organizing shipments for influencer campaigns.
• Tracking influencer trends and ideating relevant creator content strategies.
Requirements:
• Must be enrolled in a 4-year university.
• Must be eligible to receive college credit for the internship.
• Ability to commit to 15 hours per week.
