Job Description: Digital Intern
Rational 360 is seeking a Digital Intern to support its digital marketing, public affairs, advocacy, and fundraising team during the spring semester. The intern will play a significant role in the firm’s daily operations.
Responsibilities:
• Daily monitoring of client advocacy campaigns: This includes online advertising, email and SMS marketing, and social media activity.
• Monitoring of trending social media conversations: The intern will report on these conversations and identify opportunities for client participation.
• Assistance with content creation: This involves creating content for social media, email, websites, and SMS campaigns for various clients.
• Execution of daily content: The intern will publish and manage content across platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and email marketing campaigns.
Qualifications:
• Knowledge of social media platforms
• Interest in politics and public affairs
• Knowledge and experience with social media and PR monitoring and reporting tools: (e.g., Crimson Hexagon, Digimind, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, etc.)
• Recent graduate or currently enrolled college student: Focus in journalism, digital marketing, political science, PR, or communications is preferred.
• Strong writing skills
• Energetic and creative mindset
• Part-time availability
Benefits:
The internship is a paid, semester-long program in the Washington, DC office, requiring at least 40 hours per week at a rate of $17.50/hour. The program includes weekly professional development trainings and mentorship from a member of the digital team.
